That is absolutely beautiful and something that you will treasure your entire life. I look back at pictures of me holding my baby in those very same chairs at Duke Hospital and it seems like a lifetime ago, and it was only 18 months ago...of course there will still be struggles ahead, but my, oh my, what an amazing gift your daughter is. i had brain surgery in december (i'm 22) so have lots of time to just rest... was going back through your blog to see how you got to where you are now... and saw this video. it was touching at the beginning, but when you started talking, i started crying. and what you said at the end made me completely lose it.
continuing to pray for you. i've read your blog occasionally before but until now haven't been able to ge the full idea of everything you've written. as i'm sure you're aware, when you're recovering from major surgery, all you can really do is rest... and being the age i am, my MacBook is a good friend. :-P

i had brain surgery in december (i'm 22) so have lots of time to just rest... was going back through your blog to see how you got to where you are now... and saw this video. it was touching at the beginning, but when you started talking, i started crying. and what you said at the end made me completely lose it.
continuing to pray for you. i've read your blog occasionally before but until now haven't been able to ge the full idea of everything you've written. as i'm sure you're aware, when you're recovering from major surgery, all you can really do is rest... and being the age i am, my MacBook is a good friend. :-P
