Yay, I'm so proud of Gwyn! She's doing great and will be a pro in no time! So grown up and too adorable! :-) By the way, how is she doing with her hearing aids?
I have followed your blog for about 2 years I guess and have never commented. I couldn't pass this up! I'm so proud of you Gwyneth!!!! I'm never amazed at the determination you have!!! My heart explodes with joy!! My God is an AWESOME God!!!!
What a little beauty!! All I could think of, while watching, was that tiny little peanut, so much smaller than the stuffed pug, just fighting for her life in the NICU. Now look at her go...and talk...and dodge Meka like a pro!!! Wow! God is...GOD!!
Aww, that's so great! Way to go Gwyn! This truly made my day! I love how she felt unsteady and ran right back to the couch. I don't think I've ever seen such a determined little girl ever!
Thanks Nate...that's just awesome. So nice to see her and how far she's come. I look at those little legs and ankles and think she shouldn't be walking she's so darn little but there she is...your little miracle!
Congrats to you and Tricia for being such great parents and taking such great care of your babes!
Oh, Nate! I so needed some Gweneth love and updates! She is learning so much and is just so adorable. Watching her fall down and get right back up, bend over to pick up the ball and get right back up, turn and walk, all these things are so exciting! You and Tricia must be so proud!
It touches my heart to see her walk!! I was told my daughter would not ever walk and she finally began walking just after her 3rd birthday!!! God is truly good!! Congrats on your "walking fool"
Love it! My cousin adopted a little girl that was a micro-preemie. Rachael was 17 months old when Jennifer got her and could not even hold her head up. She had never been outside hospital walls. Jennifer was told Rachael would basically be a vegetable the rest of her life~ never walking, eating, talking, or even breathing on her own. And they predicted she would be blind, deaf and mute. This made Jen more determined to take Rachael. :) Within months, Rachael was turning over, then sitting up, crawling, and eventually talking too. She wears glasses and can hear. She was four before she starting walking on her own and I was there when she stood up in the middle of the floor and walked across the room the first time. She was off oxygen after a year or two and not much later~ no stomach tube. She is now 12 and still developmentally delayed, but is a living, breathing testimony of God's goodness and grace and the power of parents that love her. God bless Gwyneth and I'm so excited for y'all.
okay that was just to stinkn' cute! i dont know what i was more mezmerized by her flipping her hair or her non stop motion!...watch out its about to get interesting...hope that little four legged buddy is fast!

Way to go G!!! Nathan and Tricia, I'm praying for both of you as she becomes more mobile and thus takes even more following and energy. You are doing an amazing job at parenting and loving her heart!
She is so precious! Growing so fast. I've written with you before and kind of lost touch. I recently got extremely sick from my cf and was admitted to Duke via ambulance. I've been here almost 3 weeks and am going through transplant evaluation. Gosh it's overwhelming. I'm doing so much better now than when I came in. On room air now rather than constant 15 liters of O2. So glad things are going great for you guys!
