(Bump) Like A Virus

This was originally posted in January. I'm still finding new blogs/websites linking to ours nearly every day, and I'm sure I've missed a bunch...THANK YOU so much for sharing our part of God's story with others! No need to ask my permission to link our blog or any of my posts...we appreciate your help in raising awareness about the issues we are passionate about!

Just as many of you are checking in with us several a day, I spend several minutes each week seeking out any and all blogs and websites that mention our story, posting a simple "Thank you!" on every one that allows. The number is in the thousands by now...which I find absolutely amazing...and those are just the ones that I've been able to find.

I'm doing all I can to document and save everything I write and read about this story. Your comments, your emails, your cards and letters and packages.

Now, I'd like to devote this post to asking those of you who have blogged about our story to simply leave a comment with your web/blog address (we'll keep it short and uncluttered). It would mean the world to me, it would mean easy access for when Tricia and others want to read more, and it would mean some serious traffic for you.

If you know of a third party website (like a website chat room) that is talking about us, and do not see it posted yet, feel free to do post. Please, only comment on this post if you have your own link to share, or a third party website link.

Thank you!

Nate

I also read today about how you will be getting milk for little Gwyneth and it made me feel good because a few months ago I donated 40lbs of my milk to a milk bank in NC! My son (a preemie at 31 weeks) was unable to drink breast milk, so I pumped for months and then donated! :) You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers!

  144. Nathan-

It is a great joy for me to pray for you, Tricia and Gwenyth. My family has also logged in hours in the hallways at Duke. But God is good. Miracles happen.
My family is praying for yours daily.

  147. I've never posted to a blog before, but thought I'd let you know who I am as one of the many people checking your website multiple times daily and praying for you. My name is Janette Klingner and I'm a very good friend of Diane Haager, Emily Haager's mom. I'm quite close to their family and adore Emily, and have praying for you and checking your website since Emily first asked me to back in the fall sometime. I'm a professor in the School of Education at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and I'm currently going through my own health issues--cancer (a high grade soft tissue sarcoma, or tumor, in my thigh), diagnosed in November. I'm almost finished with radiation treatments, and will have surgery next. Health concerns certainly everything else in perspective! I hope that someday I'll be able to meet you and Tricia and Gwyneth

  155. God is so Good!!!! I am amazed at the strength that you have. I have a neice with CF and she is 18 years old. This has been the hardest year for her. She has been in and out of CHKD all year. I am so glad that she also loves the Lord. When I read your stories and get a little glimpse in your lives it encourages me and makes me look further in my neices future at all her possibilities. Praise God!!! Thank you for sharing and please pray for my neice and we will continue to pray for you guys.
