Prayer For Tricia
Tricia asked me to post these few things. Thank you for your prayer and kind thoughts today.
> She has had some pain in her lower left lung for the past few days. This is often a sign of infection.
> If she does have an infection, that it will go away.
> Because of the pain and more frequent coughing, she has not been sleeping as well the past week. This makes for long days and long nights.
> As always, that her new lungs will arrive soon!
Thanks!
Nate

NO WAY how could I be first!!! Anyway We will continue to pray for Tricia and that her lungs are healthy so that when those new ones arrive shell be ready. I also wanted to comment on your post on being a dad and a husband. I think all of us go through this to some extent. It really is a balance and you do get tugged either way at times. I dont think you should feel bad either way. You stayed where you needed to at that moment. Praying for you to be blessed and at peace where you are at.

ReplyDeletePraying right now and continue to pray daily.
ReplyDeleteI am praying. I come in and check frequently because I know that those new lungs are coming soon. I want to know so we can stop what we are doing and get on our knees before, during and after the transplant. We feel like we have kinda adopted your family. We are amazed by the miracles already seen and the ones that are still unseen. HUGS for Tricia!

Nathan & Tricia, I have been following your story since what seems like the beginning and this is my first post!! It's time I put actions to my prayers. I check in often and I am praying but now for some reason I wanted you to know. God is using your story in amazing ways but for now I will pray for those things you've asked. It is so good to focus on others' needs instead of our own. May God bring healing!
ReplyDeleteI continue to pray and think about your family. Hope tricia is infection free and that her new lungs arrive soon.
ReplyDeletepraying as requested :)
ReplyDeleteAm praying and hoping your requests are answered. Get well quick!!

Tricia hoping for no infection and I pray that you get your new lungs soon.
ReplyDeletePrayers on the way!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the specific list of prayers...I know that God knows exactly what you need and is already working on the details. I am offering my petitions on your behalf. Have a great day today.
ReplyDeleteI will do it.
ReplyDeleteI know that I am one of many, but I pray every day that Tricia gets her gift of life soon, and that Gwen will continue to grow strong and be healthy. I have been a lurker for awhile, but today I felt compelled to post. I am a strong advocate for organ donation as our daughter had a liver tx at 7 months of age. The waiting for "the call" was the hardest part...and watching her become more and more sick. Today, she is a red headed 4 1/2 year old fiesty little girl. You would never know that she was sick a day in her life. Miracles DO happen with the help of prayers and our God above. I pray that Tricia's miracle happens soon.
ReplyDeleteJust lifted Tricia up before the throne of God, praying specifically for each request.

Tricia, my thoughts are with you and hoping the pain in your lung eases up pronto! I know that awful pain all too well..and it stinks cuz it makes it hard to cough and do CPT or the vest, which, ironically, is what CF'ers need to do to help alleviate or prevent an exacerbation.
ReplyDeleteHoping you get your "call" pronto as well!
As always I am praying for you all.
ReplyDeleteTricia, once when putting my sons to bed (one of my few luxuries these days) and once when I go to bed. I always pray that they will find a match quickly for you and that the donor's family will find peace in the process. I'm still pulling for you and Gwyneth to be reunited soon so you can get started on all of those lists that were written for you. :)
ReplyDeleteConsider Tricia prayed for...
ReplyDeleteMany special prayers are being said for you Tricia. I am so lucky to have been pointed to your blog from a friend and have been following your story since just after your white rose was born.
ReplyDeletePrayers lifted!! I pray daily for all three of you and the future donor and family. Hang in there--in fact, my whole family now follows your blog!!
ReplyDeleteLove and blessings,
shari nc
