White Rose Blooming (9 Weeks)

Every Tuesday while you're in the hospital, we'll take a picture with your pug so that everyone can see how much you are growing!

You are still a little bit bigger than 12 inches long, and you gained some more weight this week and you are now just a little bit under 2lbs!

Your ninth week was your best week yet! You went nearly the entire week without any kind of breathing machine and without any extra oxygen! By the end of the week though, you got a little tired, so they put you back on the vent. But, you're doing great!

You also had your fourth negative MRSA swab, and they finally moved you out of contact isolation, which means that your daddy and grandparents get to touch you without any gloves on again! Your mommy came down nearly every day, and she was able to hold you several times. And, for the very first time, both of your grandmothers were able to hold you!

In the next week, we're praying that you'll be breathing so well that you'll work your ways towards breathing again without any help. We're also praying that you'll make it to 2 lbs. and even more! And, we're praying that you stay infection free and don't have to go back into contact isolation.
