Birthday Fun!

Tricia is at a hair salon with one of her favorite nurses (hey Lindsy!) getting her hair done...Lindsy has some wild (but fun) hair...I'm very interested to see what Tricia looks like when I pick her up from PT in a little while... It should be nice for her since she hasn't had anything "professionally" done with her hair since Early January.

Tricia's birthday gift came in this morning after I had dropped her off with Lindsy! She knows what she's getting, but didn't think it would be here this early. She'll find out when she gets home later today, and she'll be very excited as she's been thinking about getting one ever since she found out she was pregnant.

It's a glider (for those who may not know), basically the ultimate rocking chair...perfect for a mama and baby to spend some peaceful time together.

    Oh Nate I forgot to mention, I'm the crazy lady that emailed you a while back... I had the brother who passed due to CF... I was wanting to know about the gentic testing for my kids... I'm sure you remember....

    I've been glued to your blog ever since but have never posted..... Oh, Thanks so much for sharing your story.... I sure have enjoyed getting to know more about your little family and I'm so happy that your girls are doing wonderful..... T

    Happy Birthday Tricia! Glider rockers are the BEST. I used to (try to) sleep in mine when I was coughing too much to lay down. PERFECT for a new mama.

    Glider's are the best! I just got ours back out yesterday ready for the new arrival and I'm so looking forward to it. Colin and I spent many days and nights rocking and us singing to him or playing CD's. It's so comforting just you and your baby snuggling together. She will love it!

    Tricia is going to really enjoy spending time with Gwyneth in the beautiful glider!! And it looks like you guys were able to get baby gear! I see a carseat base in the background! Its all coming together! I cannot wait for the post that says she's coming home =]

    That is the perfect gift for Tricia!!! :) She will treasure her time in it rocking Baby Gwyneth! :) I have had mine for 14 years & rocked all 6 of our little ones in it. :) I just could never part with it....too much sentimental value! :)

    I am so happy Tricia got that glider!!! They are the best. They weren't around when my kids were little - we just had regular rocking chairs, but they are a lifesaver with my grandkids - especially recently when the little girl was sick and wouldn't sleep in her crib. Her Dad and I took turns spending the night in the chair with her...trying to giver her Mama a little rest!!!

    My "little" guy is 9 1/2 and still uses the glider for snuggling or to sooth himself. A great many hours have been spent in ours and we still use it almost daily! Happy Birthday Tricia, Enjoy!

    this is a gift that she'll remember for her whole life. rocking little gwenyth - and even big gwenyth as she grows - will bring her such comfort, such joy...she'll have it with her, even when she rocks while gwenyth sleeps in her crib.
    so exciting - i saw that it will be very soon when you'll have her home with you. praises to god!
