Don't let what you see on TV's medical procedural's (House, ER, Grey's Anatomy etc.) scare you from doing this. The sedatives for the procedures are great and most of the time the patient is completely unaware of what is going on - this from first hand experience. Modern medicine has some amazing drugs!
My whole family is on the donor list & my sister even donated her marrow to our older sis. Thanks for spreading the word about other organ donations. You & Tricia have inspired me to become a donor!
