Please, pray for my mom (Gail) this morning if you have a chance to. She is partners in a wedding decorating business, and she cut her hand pretty badly handling some glass on Tuesday. She saw the surgeon yesterday, and is having surgery this morning at 10am to repair a severed tendon and some nerve damage.
She's really bummed, as this week began the busy season for her business, and as she has been looking forward to coming here and helping us get settled in with the baby. Her arm with be in a sling, and she won't have use of her hand for at least two months.
Also, the last time she was put to sleep for a surgery, she an incredibly horrible experience, so I'm sure she's very anxious about this morning for that reason as well.
If you'd like to leave a note of encouragement for my mom, you can do so Here.
Thank you so much.
Nate

ReplyDeleteI have been reading your blog for months now and just wanted you to know we are praying for safe and quick healing for your Mom as well we are so excited for you to finally be with both of your beautiful girls. We have twin boys who spent 2 weeks in the hospital and I will never forget when we finally were able to bring them home and lay them on our bed and unwrap them and just explore every inch of our sweet babies that is so hard to do when they are hooked up to all those machines and leads! I am so excited for you to experience this with your sweet little peanut!
ReplyDeleteBest of luck...you will be great!

ReplyDeleteHi Lawrenson Family, I just sent your mom Gail a friendly hello and words of encouragement. I have not been blogging long and I am so sorry to hear that folks will be down right cruel and say nasty things about such a wonderful experience. I once had someone tell me that they would not buy a "brand new" car because they were afraid that out of spite, people would scratch it up in the parking lot. It is a shame that some have to rain on our parades !! You know God is Great and all that He is capeable of !! I pray the three you mentioned have the wonderful experince of knowing Him. Perhaps through our prayers they will become more considerate and the Lord will work through their heart to come to know Him better and live with more love in their heart !!
ReplyDeleteGrace and Peace to you and your family !! Lora
