It's such a treat when you share your family photos. I always love looking at the beautiful faces of the people you are blessed to call famiy. Have a great weekend. Househunting? j
I just wanted to let you know that my family prayed for you today and will continue to pray for you. :) Hugs and prayers from longview Texas, The Hills
I just love the one of your parents with the three couples in the background - you almost don't notice them at first but it's just awesome! What great ideas!
Wowzers!!! I LOVE all the pictures, but especially that first one with your parents in the front and their children/spouses in the background. I have never saw anything like it. Very cool.
Amazing shots, as always! I love, love, LOVE the one of your parents with the three of you couples in the background. It took me a second to realize that the teensy little something between you and Tricia was...GWYNETH! Your dad looks so happy to be holding his granddaughter--you need to get Gwyneth one of those onesies that say "I'm not spoiled, my grandpa is just very accommodating!" Not that she is spoiled; I am of the school of You Can't Spoil A Baby. It's just cute :)
Also, it's so nice to see Tricia with just a little sun on her (I'm guessing that she'll have to be careful with that with the chemo--if they haven't said anything about it you might want to ask; if you're purposely avoiding the broad daylight then hey at least she got a little color BEFORE the chemo, right?). I remember you writing about that in the hospital, how great it would be to see that, and it really is. If I'm this thrilled you must be really REALLY happy. She looks great! I mean good heavens the woman has had a baby, a lung transplant, and chemo over the past year, and she's GORGEOUS! Whatever the future may hold, I'm really glad you are getting to spend these special days with family and as new parents, and that you are sharing them with all of us.
Oh...those are so precious! The first one says so much!!!! I am learning so much about photography just from your blogs! The family is the most wonderful thing God made! And through the precious blood of Jesus Christ, we can all become part of the family of God! Oh, He is just so wonderful! love and prayers, Jaynee
The photos are all lovely, but the first one is amzing. So very original and so powerful in its message. Surely THIS is what success looks like to our parents.
Love the first photo you put up! Well, I think they are all great, but you all in the background looked so neat. Wish we lived near water for some great fmaily pic like yours!!
You and Tricia are absolutely inspiring for me! It is powerful to have God with you isn't it? He is always with us so we don't have to face things alone and He surely has given strength to you both. I do wish you all the best and thanks for doing such a thorough job posting and sharing your lives with us.
Ok so I'm a faithrul reader but have never commented. Let me first say what a gorgeous family you are!! I only heard about your family a few months ago but went back to the beginning and read for MANY hours, lol. I love your photography style. My favorite photo so far is the first one posted on this post with the kids in the background loving on each other. What a great idea!! We have 4 children that we have adopted over the past 3 years and I wish I could get some great shots of them. I have NO imagination when it comes to photography though. We have a blog if you'd like to stop by some time. www.gatheringangels.blogspot.com I'm praying for you and your family!! Hugs, Sarah Maples
Okay, I bet you have heard it before but Tricia looks like your mom and one of your sisters or SIL's. Crazy but at the same time awesome. Great pictures too.
you are very talented.... I "try" to use some of the ideas you gave us a while back on taking pics.... try is the opperative word here! Glad to hear Tricia is feeling well... praying it continues!!
Great pictures. I am wondering how you put the words on your pictures. I have a blog about my sons journey with Tuberous Sclerosis and I post a lot of pictures and would like to be able to do that so no one can steal the pictures (or at least if they do it'll have his blogs name on it). Thanks for blogging about your journey. I am also a Christian and I know God has allowed these disorders to happen to our loved ones so that we can share how God works in our lives.
