Most of you probably already know about this (with the holidays and moving I haven't been keeping track of things online, so I just found out about this)...MckMama's new baby boy, Stellan, has been diagnosed with a serious case of RSV and is in the hospital. Stellan stopped breathing a few times yesterday and is on the brink of being intubated/ventilated...waiting to read an update today.
MckMama is a blogger friend of ours, and reading her latest post took me back to those first few days of Gwyneth's life nearly a year ago...although thousands are already praying for and thinking about baby Stellan, I'd ask you to also stop by her blog if you never have a read about this already miracle baby and leave a comment of prayer and/or encouragement.
Thank you.
Nate
BTW, my email has been down since last Wednesday, so I haven't been able to receive any emails or check comments as I normally do...
Have been praying for the whole family.
ReplyDeleteSo cool to see the new house come together! I am waiting for that day when we can move into our own house.
Looks like your little girl had a great first Christmas!
Jodi
Thank you for the prayers for my sister and my sweet nephew Stellan.
ReplyDeleteAs a parent of a child who went through so much in the beginning of her sweet life, I know you understand a lot of what my sister is going through. I appreciate you praying for her and Stellan and for calling other prayer warriors.
I continue to pray the best for your sweet family!
Blessings,
Hilary
it is an honor to join you in praying for Baby Stellan. I love how the internet has been a megaphone to get the word out for needed prayer.
ReplyDeleteI to have been praying for Stellan as well his entire family. I know this is so hard on his Mom and Dad, As we just went through RSV with our Daughters little one. Scary stuff.
ReplyDeletePraying here in Michigan
I've been praying for the whole Mck family...
ReplyDeleteNate, can I ask you to remember my friend Nathan? He's got CF, he'll be 27 on Sunday, and he's having a REALLY bad week... even though he got his acceptance letter to Duke's DL transplant program yesterday. I have been following you and Tricia for over a year now, and have been able to actually be helpful in conveying some of what you have experienced. He has a caring bridge page here http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/nathansmith1, and I have him linked on my blog - delightfullycliche.com.
God is the great physician... and I'm just ready for the next big God thing!
Blessings to you and yours!
Jenn C.
Thanks Nate! I was just over there reading and wondering if you guys knew. It sounds like Stellan needs all the prayers he can get right now. It is awesome to think of how many people will be praying for him now.
ReplyDeletePS - I hope the moving/unpacking is going well and that you are still enjoying cookies.
Praying here in Georgia, and knowing that the volume is turned up LOUD and God is listening.... (can you even imagine what it sounds like to Him? Stellan.. Stellan... Stellan.... thousands of times an hour...wow!)

Nate,
ReplyDeleteCouldn't get on any blogger blogs while we were in the hospital, so I'm just reading your post first hand now (Although I knew you'd posted...your readers who popped over made sure of it!) and wanted to thank you so much! I consider all three of you to be true friends. You know, friends I've never met. But I think you get the idea.
Hugs to your girls,
MckMama
