Wearing Orange

We didn't get the memo until after we left home, so our first stop this morning is Target to find something orange to wear as we pray for Stellan, Doctor A. and his medical team, and the MckFamily. Stellan's is actually headed into his very risky heart surgery right now, and, even as we sit in waiting rooms and visit with our own medical teams, we'll be praying that God will grant this little boy one more miracle.

Thanks for your prayers...we arrived safely in Durham last night around midnight. Today will be busy, although we don't know how much until Tricia gets evaluated. We'll be looking for other oranges in the hospital!

Nate

  6. I have been thinking of both you guys and the MckFamily constantly (while pulling an all-nighter for a college paper. See--y'all have people praying around the clock!) Off to don an orange coat (slightly too warm for it, but it's for a good reason!)

Safe travels for your family and we will be praying for all of you. I don't have a blog, I just read them. :o) I just can't leave messages for Stellan's family, too. I guess you need one to be able to post. You are sweet to mention them on your blog. These little ones are such precious gifts from Him.

Praying for Tricia and Gwenyth...and you, too!

  42. We are praying for Stellan, the Mckfamily and your family as well. We are sporting our orange. In fact, Carson even made it onto MckMama's blog. He's wearing an orange collared shirt, orange cloth diaper, and holding an orange daisy with a sign that says Praying for Stellan in Nebraska.

I hope things are going well with you guys too, and that Tricia makes a quick recovery.
