(Bump) Think of And Pray For Tricia Right Now, Please!
Tricia is in surgery right now having her portacath removed. The surgery to have it placed about two years ago was simple, but very painful for Tricia, so she was a little apprehensive. They've told her there will be no/little pain, but we've heard that before.
We should be back in her room by 3:30pm. I'll let you know how it went.
Nate

ReplyDeleteHeavenly Father - wrap your arms around Tricia right now...let her feel your warmth, the sound of your heartbeat...comfort her and watch over her. Give her the supernatural peace only Your Spirit can provide. Guide the doctors and nurses, and may even this simple procedure bring You glory, even add to Your Kingdom someone who has yet to know You.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
A friend of a friend of a friend of a friend....
Praying that everything goes well and that Tricia experiences no pain from the procedure. God, please watch over Tricia and allow her no pain or discomfort.

ReplyDeleteJessica and I are praying together for her right before her nap.
ReplyDeleteWe are praying over here in Chapel Hill Nate. Nicholas has had this surgery 3 times. It does hurt less coming out, but hurts some just the same. Nicholas' lung function was up to 59% this morning, so we are on the right track. We are praying for a quick and painless removal and that the doctors' hands will be guided by our Father.

Be assured that from the first day we heard of you, we haven't stopped praying for you, asking God to give you wise minds and spirits attuned to his will, and so acquire a thorough understanding of the ways in which God works. We pray that you'll live well for the Master, making him proud of you as you work hard in his orchard. As you learn more and more how God works, you will learn how to do your work. We pray that you'll have the strength to stick it out over the long haul—not the grim strength of gritting your teeth but the glory-strength God gives. It is strength that endures the unendurable and spills over into joy, thanking the Father who makes us strong enough to take part in everything bright and beautiful that he has for us.

I have been a 'lurker' moreso on your page for the last month or so (since just before Gwyneth was born, and many times I have been in tears from reading, watching the things you've all gone through. Today when I watched the videos I cried again - b/c it is a very sweet thing for you two to have the relationship you have with one another. I can feel the love you have for each other through your page. I admire you for your commitment to Tricia - and I can see for you that you feel that it comes so easily, and that in itself says so much about the love you have for one another, about about the relationship you both have with the Lord. I am rambling - but I want to tell you that you really inspire me.
ReplyDeleteWe are all rooting for you, Tricia and Gwyneth!!! Keep up the amazing work which I know is only by the grace and strength of God!
