Gwyneth is beginning to show more of an interest in Meka the pug, and, although Meka still isn't sure what to make of a little person who only seems interested in squeezing her ears, she does seem to be, at least, obliging.
BTW, if all goes as planned (meaning, the majority of the house is organized, because cats don't like changes in their surroundings), Ralphie the cat will be rejoining our happy family by the end of the week! I'm not sure who's more excited...Tricia or Meka...

Those are the MOST fun dogs! It's really beautiful to see your baby having such a good "friend".

Gwyneth really seems to enjoy him. He is so patient to just let her play & explore. Doggie treats for Meka!

ReplyDeletesweet sweet!!! kids and pets are always so precious to see.
ReplyDeleteThat last photo is priceless! So adorable!
ReplyDeleteI have to ask, are all Pugs as sweet and patient? My older boys want a Pug badly, but I have a very wild 22 month year old and am concerned with how the dog would react. Don't guess you would be willing to give me Meka??? lol
ReplyDeleteThe pics are great...
those are so sweet! she looks like she really loves her puppy
ReplyDeleteCute! Do you read the comic "Sheldon"? (sheldoncomics.com) One of the prime characters is a Pug. He even sells a book that combines most/all the pug cartoons into one.

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love these pictures! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like life is good for the Lawrenson's! Enjoy. That snow looks great in pics. I always enjoyed about one a season, we've not had any yet in FL! They actually said we had a remote chance of flurries one day last week.
ReplyDeleteAdorable photos. I love children and animals and dogs, and cats...
ReplyDeleteThe last photo is simply adorable I would have to frame. Too cute!

I agree with everyone - the last picture if my favorite. The way she is smiling at him is just precious.
ReplyDeleteI love the last picture.
ReplyDeleteMeka must be a very good dog!!! I am sure Ralphie will be very happy to come home. . . but what does Grandma think about losing her friend?
Awesome pics Nate! My litte boy is only about 10 lbs, so all pug contact has to be highly supervised. I am so looking forward to the day some months down the line when pug and alien (that's what the pug calls the new baby) can be friends!
ReplyDeleteIncidentally, does Meka let you cut her nails? Mine fights herself into a frenzy as if I was cutting off her fingers... oh well!
What a great dog!
ReplyDeleteThe last picture where she is smiling at Meka could not be any cuter! She is just precious!
ReplyDeleteMeka is lovely. She has such a sweet face, and she looks very patient with Gwyneth. My daughter collects stuffed pugs and pictures of pugs. My parents have a real pug that she thinks is HER dog. If you have a spare pic of Meka that I can print for her album, she would be thrilled!
ReplyDeleteYou need to frame that last photo of Gwyneth and Meka! That is priceless!
ReplyDeletei love that last picture!
