CONGRATULATIONS! Now they're both home! When do you go visit at the beach?! :) I know that my 507th comment will not make much of a difference but as I was looking at bible verses I saw this one and it reminded me of your story:

But Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries ina year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.
Jeremiah 17:7-8

Another that reminded me of you is:

He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted. He bestows rain on the earth; he sends water upon the countryside. The lowly he sets on high, and those who mourn are lifted to safety.

Job 5:9-11

I can't even believe some people would write mean things to your guys. All I can say is that the hope you all have and the hope you have shared is a threat to satan. Maybe by being faithful and sharing what God has done is a HUGE threat to the devil. He doesn't want people to have hope and trust God. he wants people to give up on themselves, on their unborn, and turn from God. By saying this...you must be doing something right if you are getting attacked. It sucks, especially when your sweet wife and baby girl are involved. I am so proud that you are not angry and the way you handled it was another kick in the devils face.

I am so happy you are home. I bet some days you never thought that it would happen. But you are proof that God ALWAYS has the final word.

And on a completely random note... I just received my Parenting magazine (the subscription is free!) and there is a cool article in there about unwelcomed parenting advice from strangers. It is funny and gives some pretty sweet comebacks for when you encounter someone who simply can not help themselves and tells you how you are starving your baby or how she will certainly end up cross eyed if you don't move that mobile farther away from her face or how you're holding her too much/little etc....
Thought you might find it useful... and amusing. I'm sure they have a website somewhere..it is called Parenting magazine and it is the June Issue.

Good Luck!

AMAZING NEWS! It is so nice to see her out of the hospital. She looks great!

Hope you got rested up before hand becuase you probably won't be getting much sleep any time soon :) But I'm sure you won't mind having both your girls home now and you can take life at your own pace.

I've been following your blog for the past few months, love it. You guys are so blessed. Gwyneth is precious....I love red-headed little girls. Tricia looks great after her surgery. Praying Gwyneth continues to grow and be healthy and Tricia continues to have a trouble free recovery.

Congrats to you and your family! I myself was born 3 months early at 1lb. 8 oz...just a wee bit bigger than beautiful Gwyneth. I went through open heart surgery, wearing braces on my legs, and according to the doctors, being 3 months (both mentally and physically) behind the kids my age. But, here I am, 20 years old in my senior year of college and able to do anything that everyone else can do! So...I wrote all that to let you know that with God, all things are possible! Your Gwyneth will grow up to be an amazing, beautiful person!

Praise the Lord! I've been following for a long time now! I commented at the very beginning of this rollercoaster ride (January).

I know the HUGE relief is it to have your baby home! We brought our babies home after 86 days in the hospital.

May you feel God's presence as you adjust to this new life at home...a family of 3!!

Praising the Lord with you!
This morning my devotional time took me to Psalm 126. I hope you don't mind if I personalize it just a little for you...

"It seemed like a dream, too good to be true, when God returned Nate, Tricia and Gwyneth Rose to their home. Our mouths are filled with laughter and our tongues with shouts of joy. They are the talk of the nations. Everyone is saying, 'The Lord has done great things for them'. They echo the praise, 'The LORD has done great things for us and we are filled with joy!'"

Continued blessings and prayers,
Joy
