Learning To Talk

I thought you might like to hear Gwyneth babble a bit...she's been doing this, adding strong consonants to her vowels, for a few weeks now...of course, she's not actually saying anything on purpose, but she's getting close! You'll also see her standing on her own (not standing up on her own), but she's been doing that for months...

Wow. She has just sprung to life. I'm guessing she is more excited to look out the door post surgery. Her story gets better and better every day.

Love you little Gwyneth Rose. Can't wait to see more of your amazing progress and learning unfold. :o)

She's quite a little talker! Seems to have inherited the "gift of gab" from someone! :)
And I LOVE the little hair-thing on top of her head. Thanks for sharing! You must have been up to watch the sunrise this morning, posting this early!

She is a adorable! She needs to come over and teach my 2 3/4 year old how to make those sounds! He's in speech therapy trying to learn how to say his b's and p's (due to cleft lip and palate)! Thanks for sharing!

so adorable! My little guy started talking back to her while we were watching it. Rocco says "ah blah blah blah blah" to his pal down in NC. LOL!

A child learning to talk, just babbling away is one of the sweetest sounds I have ever heard, I just love it. Gwyneth Rose is going to be talking before you know it.
Gwyneth is adorable and her milestones are wonderful.
I see Gwyneth is ready for St. Patricks Day, all dressed in green & a pretty green hair bow. =) =)
I am going to be honest here and tell you that Gwyneth Rose in this new video clip has lifted my spirts this morning.
*** Tricia & Nathan Thank You for sharing all that you do, they way that you do.*** Thank You Gwyneth Rose for being you.***

That's so cute! My son was born on April 24, 2008, so he is exactly Gwyneth's adjusted age. He loves standing by the door and makes the exact same sounds. It's awesome to see her developing so well!

How cute! She sounds like my little one with her "banana language." Love her hair - so adorable! It looks more blonde than it does strawberry blonde in that video. Thanks for sharing and making me smile! Oh, by the way, her eyes look sooo wonderful!!! Yay for her surgery! Take care!

She is so cute! I love her shirt and her little "top knot" hair. Top Knot, hmm that is kind of dated but that is what we call the q-p doll look at our house. :-)

My 4 year old Ella came and held a conversation with her, apparently she was looking out that door for a baby. That is what Ella said. She said "Oh she is looking for another baby to play with, hear her say "ba ba ba ba baby" :-)

Beebe said...

VERY ADORABLE :-)

That is AWESOME! I majorly stressed when my 27 weeker took forever to talk (along with everything else he took forever to do). I wish I hadn't worried so much as everything turned out just fine. I noticed when he was especially mobile, the language almost stopped. I think it's easy for others to forget how much of a miracle each of her accomplishments are. What a gift she is! (Her eyelashes are amazing too) :)

I have been following your blog for a while now and I just wanted to say, your daughter is just the cutest and I am so happy that your family is on its path of wonderful adventures to come :) I have another reason for writing - I recently moved to NC (well almost 5 years now) however my husbands job takes him to Kitty Hawk often - I'm craving seafood can you tell me the best place he can order and bring home from? My thoughts and prayers are always with your family!

OK Nate, I have alot of experience in the "babeling" talk. (I won't elaborate) Sounds to me like she's telling you momma takes the baby outside. She definetly knows momma and baby. She is adorable and WOW..... Standing that is awesome. For her beginning she seems to be handling her skills pretty well. My opinion is that has alot to do with mom and dad working with her. Maybe?

Adorable hair, babels, cute little girl all around. As if you didn't already know this.

Look forward to seeing more of her.

Tell Tricia I pray all goes well in Durham.
