(Update) Clotting

7:42pm - Everything went well.  The surgeon was able to clean her out and says her lungs are looking good.  They were able to reopen a small part of her previous incision.  She is in a lot of pain, probably from being bent over backwards again on the table.  Praying for good sleep tonight so she can get back to walking and recovering tomorrow.

Tricia is going into the OR around 4pm today for a minor procedure to extract some clots around her lungs. Risks are there, but nothing we're too concerned about. It may take a few hours and if all goes well she'll return to stepdown.

Thank you for your prayers.

Nate

Just saw the picture of your two beauties outside together: either your iPhone makes magic photos, or your wife is simply more than amazing: she's looking sooo good! You'd never know what she's just been through again for the past months and days!
Wishing you many more moments to enjoy and cherish together,
Jade

Praying for Tricia, you, and your children daily. I saw this article about a local (to me) 10 year old with CF who is is need of a lot of prayers as she is waiting for new lungs and it looks like she needs them fast. (Please forgive me if you aren't comfortable with me posting this link and feel free to delete if you want. This girl has touched my heart though and I wanted to ask for prayers for her.)

I'm so glad she got the opportunity for another transplant. I have followed your story since the beginning and pray for you often. Please say a prayer for this girl as well...http://www.change.org/petitions/optn-unos-change-policy-to-allow-pediatric-transplants-of-adult-lungs-based-on-medical-necessity

You and Trish do not know me,but I have prayed for Trish since she was born.I gave her middle name Faith.I saw her for only a minute in the arms of a nurse in a hospital in N.J. I can still see her beautiful big brown eyes looking at me.I knew she was safe and praised God for his mercy and grace.I thank God for her great family, the wonderful parents who raised her.I thank him for the wonderful husband you are. What a great inspiration you both are to me and so many others. My prayers are with you always.
