Rita's Tonight!

Tonight (Sunday) from 6 to 9, come to Rita's in Southern Shores (at the Market Place Shopping Center), meet some Dare Devil baseball players, and enjoy some awesome water ice and custard! 15% of the money spent on frozen treats tonight will go directly toward the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

As you know, I love Rita's, and I will personally buy a small water ice for the first five people (five people who I have never met before) who walk in and mention the blog to me.

Gwyneth, Tricia and I will see you there!

Nate

Ha Ha, That isn't the kind of "Rita's" I thought you were talking about.

Not that I drink. Just made me giggle. :)

Hey Nathan -

Just want to share something with you.

I won't go into details, but my cousin has had some kind of brain injury and his brain is dying.

It is a very sad situation, he is only 43 years old.

But because you have brought organ donation to be such an important thing that I think about often, I brought up the subject with my family, and they have been keeping him on the ventilator so that they can harvest all his organs!

I don't think that he is a Christian, but I know that God is going to help so many through this generous gift.

Just wanted to shre with you and thank you for all your efforts in promoting organ donation!

I just wanted to share this with you....I went to Lifeway yesterday and bought the exact same scrapbook that I had bought for ya'll after Gwyneth was born. I sat in the middle of Lifeway and cried as I was reminded of the miracle of Gwyneth's birth. Losing Noah is the hardest thing I've ever experienced and seeing his tiny frail little body showed me what a true miracle life is. I can't imagine what you must have gone through night after night, seeing her at just a pound and a half. Noah was so tiny, but he was 3 pounds and 6 ounces. I still pray for you guys so often and David and I hope we can meet you all some day face to face. If that never happens this side of Heaven, just know we still always pray for you!

Hi, Wanted you to know that Emily Mulkey has an infection and is on a vent-since last Thurs. I found your blog a year ago when she had her lung transpant (you are listed on her site) I know her family would appreciate your prayers. She also has a miracle baby, Faith. Thanks for praying.
