Snow?

The weatherman is saying that we may get up to 3-4 inches of snow here tonight. For those of you unfamiliar with the OBX climate, that's basically a blizzard for us, especially if it sticks around for more than a few hours. We wouldn't mind at all being snowed in at home for a day or two to get some more unpacking done and to introduce Gwyneth to her very first winter wonderland!

What's the weather like where you're at?

Nate

Where I live it has been unseasonably warm for the past few weeks. Normall we get a bunch of snow in the winter, and for the past few weks it has been in the 50's!! However, this is about to change as tomorrow we are supposed to get snow on the mountains and rain in the valley. Boo.

We just finished with a storm that started early Sunday am, and lasted until early Monday am. We got about 15 inches. It has been below zero here for about a week, and with the wind chill, well let's just say it's been COLD!!!!

I am new to your blog... But I am in Baltimore, MD (originally Buffalo, NY) So when it snows (or sometimes even a threat of snow) everything closes down, which isn't a bad thing cause most of the people lose all driving skills and there are way too many crashes. I hope everyone enjoys the snow!

When it's 45 degrees at the peak of the day in NE FL we are absolutely freezing! But then again I am grateful to not be in the negatives. Can you tell I was born and raised in FL? :P

Wow, see what happens when you ask us a question? Do you REALLY want to know how the weather is from 200 plus of your faithful readers? :-) O.k. I'll play along! Here in the desert, it's supposed to be a beautiful, sunny 79 degrees! Our kids are in shorts and t-shirts and outside riding their bikes! Love it!

HA! HA! 2 or 3 inches here is NOTHING! It takes about 10 inches an hour here to shut things down. Right now we've been having below freezing and lots of snow.

Glad that GR can experience some snow. Have fun and stay warm!

We've been highs of about 20 in NW Wisconsin this week, but last week we didn't make it above zero for 4 days straight. Enjoy the snow while it lasts for you guys! We've had it for about 3 months and counting. ;-)

1°F with about a Million Feet of Snow, or at least that's what it feels like ;)

And only another 90 days or so until it goes ...

God Bless your new home ...

I am in Concord, NC. We had just a dusting of snow although we were expecting 5". LOL School was cancelled and it is now all melted. How much did you all get? Sherri

It was 80* here today and most of us were in shorts and t-shirts.
Don't hate me, you won't want to be here in about 3 months when it's 100*+ for 5 months straight.
Your house looks great and so does your family! The second voice video made me cry, as a mama singing "Happy Birthday" to your child is emotional enough!

I'm a Chicago Native and it is BLAH! It's only been above 0 for a day or two this week...you have to pre-heat your car for a good 15 minutes before thinking about moving it. You bundle to get anywhere that it is almost pointless to go anywhere! It was -19 earlier this week...windchill of -38! Cold

I know I am little late in posting, but we've been out enjoying some snow of our own ... and a heat wave too. Last week was all below zero temps here, even -30 at nights! So if you are ever in MN and want to enjoy our snow give us a call :-)

I've wore capri's and flip flops for almost 2 weeks now. Gotta love the "winter" in good ole Southern California! My son had a baseball tournament this weekend out by Palm Springs, and it was around 90 there. Lathered up the kids in sunblock, and forgot myself. Fun stuff!

We are about 1hr and a half from you in Bear Grass, NC (right outside of Williamston). We got a total of 4-5 inches. The most snow we have seen in a while. I went out long enough to take pictures. Since I also have CF, I didnt want to stay out in the cold and get sick. Congrads on the new house! We just past the year mark in ours. :)
