Joe & Kendra

I just met this couple in the NICU waiting room. They delivered via c section triplets about the same size as Gwyneth, two boys and a girl. The girl passed away a few days ago, but the boys are hanging on. The parents are in pain and mourning while trying to stay strong for their boys.

Please, take the time to speak with God about this couple and their babies. It would be incredible if I could tell them that thousands of strangers are lifting them in prayer.

I'm sure I'll have many other posts like this as I meet other parents in the NICU.

Praying for Joe and Kendra and their sweet babies. Our own 2 pound 14 ounce (sounds big to you guys, I know) miracle is thriving now at six and a half months old. May God be glorified in the lives of these babies.

Father God in heaven I lift up Joe and Kendra to you. I ask that you would reach down and touch them in a very special way today. Continue to work a miracle in their lives with their two tiny little boys. Heal their grieving hearts as they are missing their sweet baby girl. God I ask that you would just continue to show them that you are real and ever present in their lives. Give Joe and Kendra strength over these next few months to endure all that is to come. Bring people just like Nathan, people that they can physically see, to continue to lift them up each and every day. Help them not to be tempted by the enemy that they are alone and no one cares. Father God we love them and have never met them and feel a special bond just because we are connected in Christ. We care and are praying for them. So to you Joe and Kendra may God bless you in ways you never expected, awe you in His mighty power and comfort you in His tender loving arms.

A friend of mine who mutually raises funds for cancer research passed your info along and I did not know you were related to Rick, who also writes for the Sentinel, as I do. It's a grand circle and I was praying for you even before I knew we were so related. The Holy Spirit has presented a great blue light around you, and I continue to pray for that protection and healing warmth for you. So many people love you who do not even know you directly. I am one of them.

Joe and Kendra,
I'm praying that you will be upheld by the prayers that are being lifted on your behalf. My deepest sympathy for your loss of your baby daughter. May God continue to encourage your hearts and support you in your time of grief. My prayers will be with your boys, as well.

Please let Joe and Kendra know my family is praying for them and for their two boys to be strong and well. We will lift them up to the throne of grace to our heavenly Father who is exceedingly able to much more than we can imagine.
With love from South Florida,
Kathy

Joe and Kendra my family and our church from Riddle, NC are praying for you today. Beverly Mitchell from the show Seventh Heaven has a song called Angel that made me think of you both today. She was truly an angel sent from God and he needed her with him. He has my angel too. May God bless you both!!! Tina Mason

Praying for Joe and Kendra and their babies....also for Tricia, Gweneth and Nate.. my daughter just lost one, and the greatest verse sent to me was Psalm 147:3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds---what wonderful words...also there is a song by Watermark, Glory Baby..the link to the lyrics is here, http://www.christianlyricsonline.com/artists/watermark/glory-baby.html
and you can get it on Itunes.

I know that Joe and Kendra are heartbroken at the loss of their "Little One" and blessed by their two boys. As a mother that has suffered that loss I can truly relate. My comfort came in the knowledge that my daughter was with the Lord. For he said ,Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not. For such is the kingdom of heaven. Here is a poem that I wrote to remember by:

God's Little Angels

Our little Angels sent from God above,
Are sent for us to treasure and teach us of his love.
Some are only given us for a short space of time.
Then back to Heaven on Angels wings they climb.
There the saints rejoice as another child comes home,
And all the children gather and take them to God's throne.
There he holds and loves them as only our Father can.
And whispers words tenderly as he takes them by the hand.
" Oh my precious little one, you did your job so well,
You taught them all about my love, as only you could tell.
You have earned your wings, all golden in hue.
In your short time on Earth, they saw my love through you!"

I am certainly lifting your family up in prayers. I have been where you are, and know the difficulties you are facing. Keep your eyes on God and he will see you through. There is a wonderful book written by Jessica DYmas titled "mommy please don't cry". It is a beautifully written story that will bring you comfort in these difficult days. My family will be praying for your boys as well. May GOd bless and keep you close.

It's 1/2 a year later, but do you know how Joe, Kendra and their boys are now? Just curious...and humbled.
