FYI

My sleeping schedule is totally backwards right now, which is why I'm blogging so much in the middle of the night (EST) and not much in the middle of the day. I'm going to try and right myself over the next few days.

No major updates to post today...hopefully we'll have that big news to share tomorrow!

Nate

Your blog is the first place I go to when I sign on to the internet. I learned about your site through a sewing-sister on Yahoo groups-Martha Pullen Fan Club. Just want to let you know that someone in Louisville, Ky, is praying for you, Tricia, and Gwyneth.

I went to pick up my little one from school today and the new
George Strait song came on. I don't know if y'all are country fans or not but when I heard this song it immediately made me think of you.
It's called "I Saw God Today"

Just walked down to the coffee shop.
Had to take a break.
I'd been by her side for eighteen hours straight.

Saw a flower growin' in the middle of the sidewalk.
Pushin' up through the concrete.
Like it was planted right there for me to see.

The flashin' lights,the honkin' horns,
All seemed to fade away.
In the shadow of that hospital at 5:08
I saw God today.

I've been to church, I've read the book.
I know He's here, but I don't look.
Near as often as I should.
Yea, I know I should.

His fingerprints are everywhere.
I just slowed down to stop and stare.
Opened my eyes, and man, I swear.
I saw God today.

Thanks for sharing the wedding picture of Tricia. Beautiful! We had some good news regarding our adoption and it looks like things should be moving again soon. I am actually going to visit my daughter in 12 days! I have been seeing God work one miracle after another in your life....I'm sure He has another awesome one just around the corner. Keep the faith! cheri

I put all you guys on my church's temple prayer roll. That means you'll literally have thousands of people praying for all three of you. I know you know what a difference prayer can make! God be with you.

I've been following your blog silently for weeks. There must be thousands out here who have been following your story without commenting. But the chorus of prayers from the known and the unknown together with you and Tricia have no doubt blessed the heart of God.
Continue to rest in the everlasting arms of God!

Well, no news is good news. I am always glad when you check in, though. I find myself getting so worried when there are no updates.

Continuing to pray for all of you and asking others to from my blog too!

Thanks again so much for asking everyone to pray for Daniel. I posted new pictures of him today from his Dad's visit yesterday. I also posted some of his preemie pictures and shared more of his story on another post.

Thanks so much!

still praying in SC!

And Tricia...you are my hero!!! I had to have a simple outpatient thing done today. Girl...I am such a wimp when it comes to IVs...I complained until the "chemistry" came through the line, then it just didn't matter. I told my husband in the prep room... I can't imagine what Tricia goes through on a daily basis... you are an amazing lady!

Nate, I understand having your sleep backwards. A funny story, my cousin 57 has a brain tumor and is in hospice with not but a few days left here on earth (okay that part isn't funny) Saturday night I stayed all night with her to give her family a break and got home at 6 am and slept 2 hours. The family got up to go to church and I got up and visited with them and was going to go back to bed and sleep some more. Get a call and another cousin "wanted to talk". We had a uncle die on Friday (still not the funny part) and she just wanted to visit over all the bad things happening to us at once. So after talking long distance for a couple of hours the family is back home and my girls need a haircut before going to the funeral on Monday (today) so we go and do the hair, nails, some shopping and then get some dinner. I am going to be in bed by 7:30 pm cause we are going to have to get up at 2 am to drive 7 hours to the funeral. I don't like for anyone else to drive so I figured I would get a couple of hours of sleep and I would be fine. Turns out it was 11:30 pm before I got to sleep then up at 2. I drink 2 cups of coffee and my husband makes me a thermos with another pot of coffee. My husband tells me when we finally get there that he has never prayed so much as he prayed on this trip. He said I drove more in the emergency lane than I did on the highway. I didn't feel like I was that much of a danger on the road but I guess I was. LOL Of course now that I am home I am wide awake. Hopefully though I can get some sleep this evening.

I want you and Tricia to know we pray for Tricia, Gwen and you daily as a family. The family even asks me throughout the day for an update on how ya'll are doing.

I can't wait for the next exciting news.
